Biden presented Presidential Medals of Freedom to George Soros, Hillary Clinton, and others
Why?
Updated twice with videos.
Earlier today the White House posted an article online that President Biden named nineteen recipients of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. A CSPAN posting indicates the ceremony happened yesterday.
The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the Nation’s highest civilian honor, presented to individuals who have made exemplary contributions to the prosperity, values, or security of the United States, world peace, or other significant societal, public or private endeavors.
Why these individuals? Why now?
Here are the White House descriptions for three recipients, who are well-known for their progressive, political activism:
George Soros
George Soros is an investor, philanthropist, and founder of the Open Society Foundations. Through his network of foundations, partners and projects in more than 120 countries, Soros has focused on global initiatives that strengthen democracy, human rights, education, and social justice.
Biden is rewarding Soros for his political activism.
Soros has given over $6.1 billion in 17,590 grants to 6,039 progressive recipients from 2016 to 2022. [Look for an update soon that includes Soros’ grants from 2023.]
Some of those Soros nonprofits recipients were the Arabella Advisors’ “dark money” funds.
On Bannon’s WarRoom on Saturday Jack Posobiec reacted to George Soros receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom:
“It’s a clarifying situation and I actually applaud it. I applaud the fact that Joe Biden is finally admitting who’s been in charge this entire time …”
Hillary Rodham Clinton
Secretary Clinton made history many times over decades in public service, including as the first First Lady elected to the United States Senate. After serving as Secretary of State, she became the first woman nominated for president by a major United States political party.
Biden is rewarding Clinton for her political activism.
Clinton’s campaign funded the Steele Dossier to smear Donald Trump in 2016. Influence Watch gives other details of Clinton’s progressive past.

Tim Gill
Tim Gill is a visionary entrepreneur whose work has advanced LGBTQI rights and equality. After transforming the publishing industry through groundbreaking software, he leveraged his success to secure key victories in the fight for marriage equality and anti-discrimination protections.
Biden is rewarding Gill for his political activitism.
Tim Gill was part of the "Gang of Four" that turned Colorado from a red state to a blue state twenty years ago.
The “integrated voter engagement” pioneered in Colorado by this “gang” has been at work in Kansas since 2017.
