We should have great concern about US voting abroad when only progressive partisans are the ones involved with the Center for US Voters Abroad Turnout Project.
This article shows known examples of a mailing and some Internet ads used by the Center for US Voters Abroad nonprofit organizations for voter registration and their get-out-the-vote efforts

Mailing to US voters abroad
Japan
Thought it might be my ballot, but nope, its some shady junk mail from some PAC or something, mailed from Switzerland, likely in an effort to evade US elections law. Anyone else get one of these? I'm astonished since I've been in Japan since 2006, this is the FIFTH presidential election since I've been here and never gotten American trash political junk mail here before.
The co-founder of Center for US Voters Abroad, Michael Peñuelas, who signed the letter above, appeared at the America Votes State Summit in March to talk about the project.
Some info about this conference:
According to the app for the conference: The America Votes State Summit is a mainstay in progressive organizing, attracting over a thousand attendees from across the country every year.

Ads targeting US Citizens abroad
Canada
Canadian writer and researcher Mary Ann Steggles copied a Sept. 11 article about geese from an Omaha TV station to her web site. That PDF file now shows an ad for Americans to vote this November from Canada sponsored by the Center for US Voters Abroad Turnout Project.
United Kingdom
UK Journalist Nick McMinn-Collard working in London posted on X his confusion on July 13 about being bombarded on Facebook with “repeated ads telling me I am a US citizen” but then suggesting he might want to “renounce your US citizenship with @Moodys”.
Here’s an enlargement of the panel at the lower left above show the ad sponsor.
Strangely, later that same July day Potter saw very different ads about artificial intelligence.
What might be an example of an ad trying to convince a US citizen to not vote for Donald Trump? Perhaps the ad at the upper right above? What if you convinced a US citizen to renounce citizenship?
New Zealand
New Zealander Nick McMinn-Collard, living in NZ recently, commented on X about how his Facebook feed was “swamped with advertisements to get a US election ballot by mail.”
